Choose speed (5–40 WPM) and pitch (400–900 Hz). Lower WPM for learning; ~18–20 WPM for everyday practice; raise tone if your speakers muddy low beeps.

These sliders change how the audio sounds — not which letters are encoded.
Standard Morse timing uses a unit based on WPM: one dit ≈ 1200 ÷ WPM milliseconds. A dah is three units; gaps between elements, letters, and words scale from that unit. Higher WPM shortens every beep and pause.
The sine-wave pitch of each beep. Around 600 Hz is comfortable on laptop speakers and headphones. Shift toward 700–800 Hz if you prefer a brighter CW-style tone for ear training.
Farnsworth practice keeps character speed relatively brisk while stretching gaps between letters and words so beginners can recognise patterns. This generator uses standard proportional timing; for slower learning, simply lower WPM (e.g. 8–12) rather than rushing at exam speed.
